I'm Nash. I like making useful things and being honest about them.
I'm a software engineer and frontend developer. I care more about whether something works for real people than about whether it looks impressive on paper.
This site exists for two reasons. One, to show the work I've actually done, plainly and without buzzwords. Two, to write. I think out loud here about building, learning, and the messy parts in between.
Right now I'm learning French full time, job searching, and getting ready to move to Toronto. Outside of that you'll find me playing Rocket League, listening to music, or going down an AI rabbit hole and losing track of time.

What I work with
Milestones
Relocating to Toronto
Moving as my fiancee begins her medical residency. Job searching across software engineering, frontend, and solutions roles.
Frontend Developer, AirFler
Built and shipped frontend features in React and TypeScript. Focused on performance and real, measurable improvements.
B.Sc. Computer Science, University of New Brunswick
Graduated with a minor in Administration. Spent a lot of it learning by building.
IT Support Specialist, The UPS Store
Cut ticket resolution time by writing clear SOPs and fixing the same problems at the source.
Residence Assistant, UNB
Supported 150+ residents over 17 months. Learned that most problems are people problems first.
